1. Acceptance
Welcome to rollclass.fun “Classroom Hub” (the “Service”), operated by DigitalTeacherHK. By registering, signing in, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a school or organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
The Service provides classroom management tools for educators, including but not limited to: class rosters and groups, RollCoin management, Monopoly Picker, blackboard, lucky wheel, coin pusher, pinball, redeem shop, and related features. We may update, change, or suspend features at any time without prior notice, while endeavouring to keep core teaching functions stable.
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have guardian consent (e.g. teaching practicum cases).
- The Service is primarily for teachers, educators, and school staff for teaching and class administration.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
3A. Consent (including Google sign-in)
You may use Email registration/sign-in, Google, or other methods we provide. Note:
- Google (or other third-party) sign-in does not by itself mean you have agreed to these Terms or the Privacy Policy; such providers only help verify identity.
- Before first creating or linking an account via Google or similar, you must confirm agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy; where the UI states that continuing means agreement, continuing constitutes consent.
- Later sign-ins with the same method are treated as ongoing acceptance of the then-current Terms and Policy (we may require re-confirmation for material changes).
4. Account security
You are responsible for activity under your account and must keep credentials secure. If you notice unauthorised use, contact us at digitalteacherhk@gmail.com.
Guest mode stores data only on the local device; clearing browser data may cause loss. For important class data, register and use cloud sync.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- upload, enter, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, pornographic, or rights-infringing content;
- collect or disclose student or others’ personal data without authorisation;
- attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service;
- use the Service for non-educational commercial spam, fraud, or other abuse;
- circumvent access controls or security mechanisms.
You confirm that before entering student names or other personal data, you comply with school policy and applicable privacy laws, and enter only what is needed for teaching.
6. Content and intellectual property
Software, interfaces, trademarks, and original materials of the Service (excluding your content) belong to DigitalTeacherHK or licensors. You retain ownership of class and teaching content you enter.
To operate and improve the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, back up, sync, and display your content—only as needed to run the Service.
Regarding institution-level social proof: you understand we may, under Privacy Policy §4A, display school/institution names in aggregated, de-identified form. This is not an official endorsement and does not authorise use of school logos or mascots unless separately licensed.
7. Cloud sync and data
After registration, you may sync class data to the cloud. We process data under the Privacy Policy. You may manage, export, or delete data in-app; after account deletion we delete or anonymise cloud data per policy.
We do not guarantee data will never be lost; export important backups regularly. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by force majeure, third-party outages, or your own actions.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or fitness for a particular teaching need. Gamified features (draws, wheels, points) are classroom aids only and do not guarantee learning outcomes.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigitalTeacherHK is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability is limited to fees you paid for the Service in the past twelve months (if any); for free use, no damages are payable.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; those limits may not apply there.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, abuse, or security reasons without prior notice. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of account data at any time.
11. Changes
We may revise these Terms and publish updates in the Service. For material changes we may require re-confirmation on registration or sign-in. Continued use means acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Parties agree to negotiate in good faith first; failing that, submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of Hong Kong courts (unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise).
